Hello, I'm Melannie! My unique journey in jewelry-making began in college, where I took my very first jewelry class. This led me to pursue my MFA in Metalsmithing and Jewelry Arts, a path that allowed me to immerse myself in artwork that engages the body. I started working with non-traditional materials, creating one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces. It's been a decade since I graduated, and I continue to grow my studio practice, crafting unique jewelry.

Currently based in Houston, TX, I continue to create my work. I've always been an intuitive maker, allowing materials, shapes, textures, processes, and colors to guide me in my creative process. This approach enables my work to evolve and grow, reflecting my personal growth.
